Support the Electrical Officer in the maintenance and upkeep of the vessel's Electrical and
Electronic systems, with particular attention to:
• All electrical equipment installed in the engineering spaces
• All electrical equipment installed in Catering spaces
• All electrical equipment installed in Hotel spaces
• Guest and Crew elevators (including escalators where applicable)
• Fire Doors, Watertight and Semi-watertight doors
• Guest and Public spaces electrical services
• Ship's communication system and ship to shore communication
• Ship's entertainment system
4.0 Responsibility and authority:
He/she will be responsible for:
• Assist the Electrical Officer in the execution of the maintenance and routine testing of
equipment, instrument and automation
• Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all electrical and electronic systems
• Participate in drills and training as required by the Company
• Any additional assignment as per Electronic Officer and or Staff Chief Engineer discretion
• Ensure that all aspects of company's OH&S are effectively applied during his/her working
activities
• Having Electrical/Electronic Diploma or Professional certificate
• Current and valid Basic Training Certificate as per STCW 95 Regulation
• Current and valid Crowd Management Certificate, company will provide this
course within first contract
