We are looking of an enthusiastic, self-motivated website developer with great attention to detail to join our Romanian based web development team. The candidate we are seeking must have experience and a track record for delivering professional frontends and being part of a winning team. Or Romanian based web development team works for a growing U.S. Company that is dedicated to excellence and growth. Are virtual team is based in Romania and works from home.
The selected person will do the following:
- design and implement features, required web pages, according to specifications, while keeping a strong details focus
- perform research on various technologies useful for the project
- maintain and offer support for the problems found on the live web pages
- communicate effectively with the local and remote team members, provide status and feedback to management and team leader on a daily basis
- have thorough knowledge of the software development life cycle (requirements, specifications, design, code, test, deploy, maintain)
- good English language
- HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP 5 with good knowledge of OOP, MySQL
- at least 2-3 year experience in web developing using PHP
- experience with an IDEs like Aptana Studio, Zend …
- experience with complex databases
- experience with MVC frameworks and template engine Smarty
- experience using SVN and managing Linux based web servers is an advantage
- experience with Photoshop, Fireworks and Flash (AS3) – is an advantage
- knowledge of Web 2.0 concepts and applications is considered a big plus (blogging, tagging, folksonomies, social bookmarking, wiki, etc.)

- well organized, highly analytical, self motivated
- good team player, open minded, efficient, with good communication skills & great eye for detail
- HTML 5 knowledge is an advantage
