GSS Ltd. has been requested by a major EPC contractor to provide an experienced Electrical Systems Expert to be based on site in Slovakia. Slovakia is known for its numerous and impressive mountain ranges. Many of the country's mountains give way to rolling hills and river valleys, where agriculture, winemaking, and livestock raising are practiced. Slovakia's mountainous terrain has also influenced settlement patterns within the country. Must be willing to travel / relocate as required by Client. Duration: 2 months. Rate, which will be dependent upon experience, and T&C's will be discussed at short-listed stage.
Qualifications: Ideal candidate will be well educated and have a University Degree in Electrical Engineering. Knowledge of International Standards for engineering and construction of power projects. Knowledge of International Atomic Energy Agency safety and technical publications. Great ability to write and document Company deliverables. An ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and strong communication and presentation skills including fluent written and spoken English. Fluency in the Slovak or Slavonic languages an advantage.
Experience: Ideal candidate will have 15 years' previous experience in power projects, at least 8 years in nuclear projects. Review and opinion on
Engineering documents related to Electrical Systems and Components for Nuclear Power Plants. These documents are composed of safety and operational
changes, and the revised basic design in accordance with current standards and regulations. Attendance to meetings with Client and Engineering Company.
