RESPONSABILITATI

Supplier Selection
ensure Maturity Evaluation availability and updates from project team towards SQM E and SQM DM for all new components
ensure Supplier Component Review (SCR) execution
support in-time sourcing and to guarantee sourcing decision signature according signature rules
identify gaps in supplier panel and feedback to SQM E and SQM M

Quality Assurance
guarantee in-time releases of new electronic and mechanic components for dedicated new complex development projects
ensure early involvement of all SQM functions and suppliers
ensure Supplier Component Review (SCR) execution
guarantee the nomination of the SQM responsible for each new component
ensuring involvement of central SQM expert resources in case of additional process and component know-how is mandatory to solve high priority component quality issues
follow up of the full implementation of containment and corrective actions to continuously solve supplier quality issues
guarantee the availability of the work products for all the relevant components
facilitate at G80 the hand-over from SQM DM and SQM E towards SQM Make Market
first contact for supplier quality related issues of BU mission critical material
the Project SQM is the representative of all SQM functions in the project from the kick-off phase until start of production and safe launch
regulary review of component introduction status including all major quality milestones of the component release (SCR, FC, APQP, PPAP, Safe Launch, etc.)
inititate corrective actions in case the project schedule can't be met
initiate and push where necessary the close co-operation between suppliers and Continental internal functions
initiate and drive the problem solution process in case of quality focused conflicts between the different functions involved in the release process
escalation in case of problems to management if no adequate solution can be found
escalation in case quality requirements of components or component introduction schedule can't be met

Lessons Learned Transfer
initiate Lessons learned within BU and SQM (related to component introduction, component specification, supplier selection, technology experience)
bringing the experience from series production into new products

Reporting
to feedback continuously APQP / PPAP status from SQM towards project team/ engineering
provide regularly report to SQM Management

Task Force
coordination of supplier related quality activities for dedicated component categories as part of the task force team and in close co-operation with the production location


CERINTE

Technical university degree in mechanical /electromechanical engineering or similar
Fluency in English – speaking and writing
Computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Willingness to travel in the country and abroad up to 30% from working time
Knowledge of various quality tools (8D, Control Plan, PPAP, APQP. FMEA, SPC, MSA, R&R)
