- Perform analysis, design, implementation and testing of the software
- Works together with colleagues from Sibiu and other locations to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Actively contribute to the implementation and improvement of the development and engineering processes and work methodologies
- Act as a coach or mentor for other colleagues, supporting their development
•Education in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent (M.S. degree or PhD is a plus)
•3 - 5 years hands-on experience in software development
•Previous experience in technical coordination of development team(s)
•Sound knowledge of Java Enterprise Edition and web applications development using J2EE (Servlets, JSP, Custom tags)
•Deep understanding of web applications software and deployment architecture
•Experience with Web/Application Servers
•Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases
•Working experience with JavaScript, HTML and CSS, XML/XSL processing
•Knowledge of UML and Design Patterns
•Previous experience with Subversion and CVS
Personal:
•Ability to work well within a team as well as individually
•Demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm towards working in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
•Proven ability to learn fast software products under development and new programming languages and technologies
•Analytical and problem solving skills, structured approach to problem solving
•Java Certifications are a plus
•Fluency in English language (written and spoken) is mandatory, German language knowledge is a plus.
