RESPONSABILITATI

Programme Administrator
Responsibilities:

- To provide support to Executive Management in delivery of programme office activities, including but not limited to
- Set up and management of programmed plans
- Delivering weekly and monthly status updates for the company
- Producing and managing the programme budget and assisting project managers with their project finances
- Managing the delivery and Operations group Risk log
- Resource allocation of staff to projects, showing the time to be expended and identifying variances to target
- Working with project managers to replan resources when adverse conditions cause slippage in any way
- Document control, ensuring that all documentation for projects is structured and retained according to corporate policies
- Documenting the top 5 risks for each project and ensuring Executive management have visibility of the actions required to reduce risks and the impact of risks
- Secretariat for Programme meetings, producing minutes and actions, following up on same;
- Developing the programme monthly report pack and KPI’s from each group

Java and Technical Support Developer
Responsibilities:

- Excellent knowledge of Java development including CLDC development for mobile devices with J2ME.
- Excellent knowledge of Application Servers such as JBoss.
- Preferably Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in one or more of the following areas: WindowsXP/Vista, Windows 2000 & 2003 Server, Active Directory, Network Infra-structure, SQL Server, Database Administrator
- Knowledge of at least one major database, preferably Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
- Experience of Microsoft Office and other desktop applications.
- Good software development, methodology, problem analysis, identification and problem resolution skills. Ability to troubleshoot problems in a logical and disciplined manner.
- A demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines preferably in a 24x7 real-time operational server environment.

The Mobile banking system consists of a number of core components.

- The Mobile Java Application (supplied by a third party and supported by them at the code level, but set up, configuration and customisation carried out by Mi-Pay)
- The interface to the Java Application
- Web services
- The .Net based core system for managing customer data
- A COM+ interface to the third party core banking platform
- An SMPP interface to an SMSC
- Customer support and administration web pages
