Develop and install cost effective, operationally supportable solutions that meet complex customer requirements and System Level Agreements.
Provide technical assistance to internal teams/external customers during environment outages.
Break fixing,troubleshooting and providingsolutionsfor servers with performance issues.
Root cause analysis.
System monitoring and reporting.
Execute weekly and monthly maintenance when required.
Perform after-hours support as needed.
Experience working ina customer facing or advisory /consulting capacity
Background in creating scalable solutions for an enterprise level Solaris v10 hosting environment.
Must be able to review, analyse and recommend opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness of Unix/Linux systems.
Experience working with Clustering and Virtualization.
Familiarity withLDoms, LDAP and Change Management.
Familiaritywith Windows and VMWare ESXServer (desirable)
ITIL background (desirable)
