H&H Consulting together with it's client, a production company that produces (sub) systems for the aircraft industry is looking for an Operation Manager, an enthusiastic leader who is willing to set up a team of 20 technical professionals that will manufacture aircraft parts in a high-tech quality environment.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up and managing a team of 10- 20 technical professionals.
- In the beginning, report to the Dutch Plant Manager, after aproximatly 2 years you will have the possibility to grow into the position of Plant Manager
- Implement the AS9100 Quality System and the health, safety and environment policies and procedures.
- Implement the production improvements (including lean initiatives).
Education/technical competences:
- Master degree in technical engineering (MSc), preferably mechanical engineering.
- Additional business administration training.
- Practical and theoretical knowledge of management methods and techniques, modern manufacturing techniques, such as lean manufacturing and 5S, and assembly.
- Knowledge of health, safety and environment.
Experience:
- Management experience for at least 5 years in a technical environment.
- Experience with the quality systems.
Personal skills:
- Good communication skills in English and German
- Accurate, leadership, persistent, self-starter, pro-active, quality-awareness, problem solving and analytical.
