Installing / developing / maintaining / documenting an active growing network environment.
Ensure the smooth operation of communication networks, supporting system communications within this environment in order to provide maximum performance and availability for the customers / users.
Implementing customer service request and changes.
Diagnose, find and implement solutions when unexpected situations / problems occur.
The candidate must have a technical background (technical university degree). Network certifications represent a plus.
Strong analytical capacity of investigating complex / new situations and problems. The ideal candidate must optimally evaluate options and successfully implement solutions.
Planning and documenting changes on a tight schedule.
Practical abilities in working with technologies / protocols like Ethernet switching, TCP/IP, Routing and routing protocolos, ACLs, STP, VLANs, VLSM, SNMP, VPN technologies, Cisco IOS handling, Network monitoring tools experience.
MPLS + L3 VPN and Cisco firewall technologies knowledge represent a plus.
Practical knowledge and troubleshooting skills are needed, so a previous 1-3 years experience in jobs like network / system support or administration is required.
The candidate must be willing to learn / adapt to new technologies. Team work is required.
Availability to perform interventions / urgent tasks after the working hours when necessary.
German language represents a plus.
