Colt is looking for Object Oriented Programming (OOP) candidates that includes PHP developers and .NET developers.
People with PHP or .NET, ASP.NET strong skills are essential for this exciting project are we are looking to train all developers in using Java into a 6 weeks training with a team of Scrum Masters from London.
Role purpose:
•Detailed design and build of server side and integration components
•To ensure optimum coverage over automated test capabilities
•To provide input to the analysis and planning of sprint backlog
Key accountabilities:
As a server-side developer you will be responsible for:-
•Apply and developing design patterns to address requirements as appropriate
•Detailed design and development of server-side components and backend integration.
•Work closely with the customer, analyst and testers at all stages of a requirements development to ensure that what is produced is fit for purpose.
•Developing at all levels of the application stack, including the front end.
Experience required:
•You will have experience in development of core servlet container components including JSP and servlets (including servlet filters)
•Experience as a developer with PHP, .NET, ASP.NET
•Proven frontend experience.
•You will have experience of working in a continuous integration driven environment
•You must also have two years working in a distributed scrum environment
•You will have experience in TTD practices and have demonstrable experience in use of J-Unit
•You will need to have worked in a fixed-line telecoms environment
•You will have experience of working in a distributed architecture environment
You will have a proven track record of progressive thinking and continuous improvement and coaching
Skills:
•Very good written and verbal English
•A second European language would be an advantage

Colt began in 1992 with funding from Fidelity Investments. Within a year we’d completed 15 km of our London network, and been granted a PTO licence so that we could offer voice and transmission services. We soon had our very first customer.
