RESPONSABILITATI

Role purpose:



To build client side web components that deliver the defined customer experience and functionality
To work with server side developers to integrate client and server side components
To ensure client side presentation complies with style and cross browser/platform policy



Key accountabilities:

Translating the frontend specifications from the user experience designer into working client-side pages
Working closely with the user interface designer to help ensure that design is conducted in line with “the art of the possible”
Working with the analyst to help in the estimation process ahead of sprint planning
Participating in all the scrum rituals
Working with the analyst and test lead to help ensure that Behaviour Driven Design (“BDD”) standards are upheld
Defining and maintaining all style guide related artefacts
Delivering pages that adhere to cross-browser standards
Working closely with server side developers to efficiently integrate client and server side components


CERINTE

Ideal experience:

You must have 4-5 years hands-on front-end development experience.
You must also have two years working in a distributed scrum environment
You must have a working knowledge of responsive design principles and implementation
You will have a proven track record of progressive thinking and continuous improvement and coaching

Skills used:

Very good written and verbal English
A second European language would be an advantage
You will need to be highly proficient in:-
Standards based HTML
CSS
JavaScript/AJAX
jQuery
Testing frameworks such as Jasmine
IntelliJ
Cucumber

Knowledge:

Proven knowledge and high proficiency within the following areas is essential

Accessibility
Cross-browser programming
Responsive Web Design
Test driven development
Pair programming

You should also have knowledge and proficiency in:

User centred design
Behaviour driven development
Wireframe design
Sprint planning

Working schedule: Monday-Friday, from 09:00 to 17:30, with 30 minutes lunch break.

Travel: the successful candidate is required to travel to London for the project hand-over and participate at initial training sessions during an approximate period of 1 month.

Contractual period: Full-time employment, during an indefinite period.
