Our client is an international and fast-growing company. This company is specialised in manufacturing of specialty trucks, truck bodies and access equipment.
The position will be based in Medias Romania.
Responsibilities:
- Providing accurate product cost information, performance indicators and financial analysis of operations for the guidance of management;
- Review bills of materials and routings for accuracy;
- Assist the manufacturing group with the preparation of their annual operating budget;
- Compile cost data for preparation of annual budgets including estimates of standard cost increases, including determining labor and overhead rates for the following year; Update frozen standard costs annually;
- Analyze manufacturing variance accounts each month and prepare reports as required;
- Prepare cost estimates for new products and product changes;
- Review monthly cycle count reports for large variances. Monitor inventory levels for negative quantities and errors. Review slow moving and no activity reports for potential write offers;
- Reconcile perpetual vs. G/L inventory balances on a monthly basis. Prepare monthly inventory turns report;
- Serve as backup to the Finance Manager in all G/L transaction posting, standard journal entries and account reconciliations;
- Maintain records of approved capital projects including copies of all invoices for fixed assets;
- Record all approved asset disposals.
- University degree in Finance;
- 5 years or more accounting experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Strong background in cost accounting;
- Experience with Oracle (ERP);
- Strong verbal and writing skills. English is mandatory;
- Must be well organized, detail oriented and good with number;.
