Besides a dedicated team of 100 engineers, we are currently building new spin-off projects.
You are passionate about programming, you master C/C++, you have been involved in previous embedded experiences and you like challenging projects.
You are ready to enrich your knowledge and to participate in trainings on Flash loader development and associated operating systems.
In the given context, we do expand our teams (in Bucharest or Sibiu) by adding:
2 Flash loader Developers - embedded telecom systems
1 Team Leader - embedded telecom systems
This new project has as main purpose to maintain high standard services through maintenance, customization, design and development of loaders for all supported platforms and operating systems (OSE, Symbian, Android and MeeGo).
The platforms are using Flash loader tools under Windows/Linux for both R&D/Development and customer support activities.
Responsibilities :
As a part of this team of skilled engineers that will also include project managers and testers, you will participate in delivering the followings:
- Loaders binary and source code, including LCM (Loaders Communications Module) and LCD (Loaders Communications Driver);
- Module test specifications and module test results;
- System test specification and system test results;
- Example production c-code;
- Supporting applications;
- Design specifications;
- Time estimates and time reporting;
- CM (product handling).
- Over 3 years experience in embedded Software Design and programming (C/C++);
- Very good PC programming knowledge (C / C++ / Java / Perl / other scripting languages);
- Microcontroller architecture knowledge – such as ARM (but not only);
- PC architecture knowledge, Linux/Windows drivers;
- Drivers, COM , USB 2.0 Standard, Flash Memories;
- Advanced Installer knowledge;
- ClearCase UCM knowledge;
- Previous experience in Level 3 customer support would be an advantage;
- Problem solving attitude, open-minded;
- English language – advanced;
- Mobility is considered a plus.

Grupul Pentalog a realizat in 2007 o crestere interna de 67% si o cifra de afaceri de 5,5M?. La inceputul anului 2008, echipa Pentalog numara deja 200 de persoane.
Datorita acestor indicatori pozitivi, preconizam pentru 2008 crearea a numeroase noi posturi in toate agentiile noastre din Romania si Republica Moldova, o crestere de 40% din efectivul actual.
