- Works from wiring diagrams, engineering drawings and equipment specifications.
- Makes calculations for load requirements for circuits and chooses appropriate size and grade components.
- Installs supply and production equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controls, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, etc.
- Maintains and adjusts electrical supply and production equipment to maximize operating performance.
- Sets up, repairs, adjust electronic equipment independently.
- Locates and diagnoses faults on electrical equipment or systems which may involve complex inter-locking or inter-related circuits.
- Requires materials needed for work, and ensures that standardized parts are used to minimize stock levels.
- Works to legal wiring regulations and company norms and procedures.
- Uses full range of electrical hand tools and tests equipment.
- University diploma (inginer electronist / electrotehnist / electromecanic)
- Professional experience – min 2 years in a similar position
- Background in PLC programming
- English – medium / fluent
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of AutoCAD may be an advantage
- Step 7 knowledge may be an advantage
- Ability to decide structural calculations
- Able to thinking out of the box
- Capable of working in a team environment
- Availability for working in 3 shifts
- Availability for over time, if needed
