Lugera is recruiting for Dunapack Rambox, member of the Dunapack Packaging Group, one of the biggest producers of corrugated and micro-corrugated cardboard on the Romanian market, a Chief Accountant.
Responsibilities:
Offering permanent support in order to manage all activity area for which the Finance Director is responsible (controlling, accounting, IT, purchasing, Logistic, safety activities);
Providing and interpreting financial information;
Analyzing changes in business, economy or legislation and advising accordingly;
Giving support for elaborating a strategic and long-term business plans;
Developing financial process tools (procedures; work instructions; work-flow) in order to minimize fiscal risk;
Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;
Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;
Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines;
Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company;
Being involved in preparation of the company's budget together with budgeting team
Forecasting cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment;
Maintain banking relationships
Keeping in touch with changes in financial regulations and legislation.
Maintaining a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
Managing outsourced functions/activities;
Overseeing the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives;
Overseeing the extension of credit to customers, receivables insurance, credit policy in general;
Reviewing collection reports to determine the status of collections and the amounts of outstanding balances;
Supervising staff;
Recruiting staff members and oversee training programs.
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or equivalent business experience and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major manufacturing company.
Good knowledge about fiscal & accounting rules.
Experience with other GAAPs.
SAP/Oracles experience.
Excellent communication skills are essential, particularly in regard to presenting the results of analyses to management.
