The ideal candidate would be a last year (2008/2009) student of the “Politehnica” University (relevant engineering degrees), with the following features:
- Ability to understand and apply engineering principles
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English

One of the biggest Infineon Division present in the Bucharest Design Center is Chip Card & Security IC\'s business unit. In the area of chip card ICs, Infineon is the leader in technology development and product security and is number one worldwide in terms of unit sales and turnover. By the middle of 2006, the company had shipped its nine-billionth chip card IC. All of Infineon\'s chip card security controllers and security memories operate independently of the individual card configuration. Infineon\'s chip card controllers support both open operating systems, such as MultOS from Maosco or JavaTM from Sun Microsystems and native/proprietary operating systems.
