THE JOB IS LOCATED IN TIMISOARA
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Test & turn-up or Standalone Commissioning of Network Elements
- Provision of Network Element configuration and perform on-line tests, call thru testing (1st Call), etc.
- Perform troubleshooting if necessary during all phases
- Operating system installation on new stations
- Functional and Acceptance tests
- Apply software release upgrade methods and procedures
- Escaladation at support team if system problem detected
Mandatory:
- Technical University degree (ETC, AC)
- Knowledge of the following protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, DHCP, FTP
- Very good knowledge of Linux/Unix usage
- English (read, write, speak)- advance level
- Good communication skills due to the links between all the different teams from specifications to design and final customers
- Flexibility, adaptability to changing situations and tasks
- Ability to work under pressure and ability to deal with customer on the field
Desirable:
- Network knowledge: routers, switches
- Good understanding of the Wimax system and topology
- Relevant experience in O&M or Telecom field
