Description of Unit
Business Unit Global Services has a number of Global Services Delivery Centers around the world which complements the Market Units in delivering delivery services to Ericsson's customers.

Job Description

Support and maintain the market leading Unified Messaging solution to ensure very high levels of service delivery and availability.
Integrate new products and services on this solution and ensure high quality end to end services are delivered to customers.
Continue to expand the capacity of the system to keep up with rapid growth.
Work closely with the Messaging vendors to ensure fixes and releases are delivered in a low impact manner.
Report regularly on system and service performance against key quality and availability targets.
Collaborate closely with the Design, Operations and Product Marketing teams to deliver change in a coordinated way, aligned with business objectives.
Continue to develop technical and professional expertise through formal learning and experience on the diverse components of the overall solution.


CERINTE

Technical expertise:

Experience in support for large scale email solutions
Experience in support of web servers and backoffice applications
Familiarization with voicemail, MMS and SMS solutions
Unix system administration skills
Support of Cisco network infrastructure
Support of Acision (LCMG) Unified Messaging solution
Familiarisation with ss7 and GSM or UMTS networks


Soft skills:
Team player, logical thinker with problem solving abilities, flexible, motivated with strong customer service orientation,


Academic background:
Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Computing discipline.
