Our client: Our client, one of the leading international construction groups, with worldwide diversified activities, offers a full range of services in engineering and construction projects. The firm's evolution over a 50-year span is reflected in its continuing record of achievements performing major civil, industrial and electromechanical projects worldwide. On behalf of the client, we are looking for Railway Construction Professionals .

Location: Saudi Arabia

Reports to: Construction Manager
The Tamping Foreman is responsible for:
- Supervise and lead the following Machines: Tamping, Profile and Grinding Machine.
- The logistics for all the above machines.
- Performing routine maintenance and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
- To identify problem areas, weighing relative costs, and promote corrective actions.
- Conducting tests to determine whether equipment, software, or procedures are operating as expected.
- To determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do the job.
- To ensure and plan the on time request for necessary project personnel, materials and equipment.
- To supervise a team of Optical Equipment Operators.
- To check and review the progress of the works.
- To implement the job with safety.


CERINTE

Requirements:
- At least 20 years of working experience using computerized tamping machines, with experience in aligning and in turnouts.
- Experience in using “Plasser and Theurer” and “Matissa” types of tamping and Profiling machines.
- Be able to quickly and repeatedly make precise adjustments for the operation of the tamping machine.
- Excellent leadership skills, as the successful candidate has to lead a team of operators.
- Knowledge of tamping, profiling and grinding machines including their repair and maintenance.
- Able to meet deadlines, which are related to the Project Schedule.
- Safety and Security. Knowledge of policies and procedures for the protection of people and property.
- High School Diploma, or Vocational Training or On-the-Job related Courses
- Fluent in English
- Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills.
- Leadership skills are highly required.
- Ability to motivate and encourage a team of operators.
- Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member.
- Able to work under pressure
- Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills
- Strong problem solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action.

Normal Construction Hours: 10 hrs a day, 6 days a week
