Support Engineer – MS Sharepoint Portal Server

JOB PROFILE
• Using broad and in-depth product knowledge provide and facilitate the responsive delivery of technical solutions and information to major customers;
• Provide solutions to complex problems that satisfy our German speaking customer base. This involves dealing with difficult situations including complaint handling, sensitive customers and mission critical support;
• Build customer and partner loyalty through customer orientation, responsiveness and accountability;
• Work in an international environment and collaborate with your team to provide high-level support;

Essential Experience
• Confirmed support experience in an IT environment;
• Strong technical and analytical troubleshooting skills
• Communication skills in international environment: German & English;
Technical / Functional Skills
• Knowledge of the HTTP/HTML, Scripting with VB, Java;
• Web Server knowledge, IIS6 or other Web Applications;
• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Infrastructure);
• Operating system (Windows 2000, XP, 2003; NLB, DNS, Networking, Protocols, Domain – MCSE2000/2003)
Would be a plus;
• Window SharePoint Services version 2 and version 3, Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007;
• Groove, Business Score Card Manager 2005, Performance Point Server, SharePoint Designer, FrontPage would an beneficial extra qualification;
• Database know how (MS SQL2000 / SQL2005; MSDE, WMSDE, SQL Expression; SQL Embedded);
• Programming skills e.g. C#; ASP.NET or other programming background would an beneficial extra qualification;
