SUBSEA ENGINEER
Requirement:
The plan is to identify through a specialist sub sea company, a Sub Sea Engineer to work alongside out operations team, initially for a period of 6 months, to perform the following critical tasks. The continued requirement for the Sub Sea Engineer will be a function of the completion of outstanding tasks and also the level of knowledge transfer undertaken with the National staff.
Critical tasks to be undertaken by the Sub Sea Engineer:
? Establish a sub sea ?Asset Integrity? philosophy and implement through the Technical Department and Intervention Services contractor.
? Agree the sub sea inspection programme and implement through the Intervention Services contractor.
? Establish priorities for equipment held and prepare for handover to the Intervention Services contractor for subsequent upkeep.
? Review and approve the sub sea procedures prepared by the Intervention Services contractor.
? Provide the operational interface between Operations and Project Team to agree the commissioning, start up and project handover strategy.
? Establish a structured training and development programme to raise the level of competence for National staff on sub sea operations.
? Review and approve the operational spares holding for the development and validate the spares in place for the operation.
? Ensure that the warehouse is being correctly operated.
? Provide specialist advise throughout the ongoing discussions with PMS to facilitate the transfer of the Intervention Services contract.
