Role – STRATEGIC BUYER – responsible for:
· Development and implementation of commodity area strategy (electronics, electro-mechanicals, product transfer project);
· Consolidate and development of a strong supply base for the company;
· Negotiations of commercial terms, prices and conditions with suppliers;
· Raise contractual agreements with subcontractors/suppliers of electronics;
· Contribute to the coordination and development of the Procurement team.
Person spec. – higher weighting more important
- University degree in electronic/technical or economical field
- Minimum 2 years experience in procurement of electronics, electro-mechanicals or transfer projects
- Experience with costs and contracts negotiations
- Good English knowledge (verbal and written)
- PC literate – MS Office a must
- Result oriented, customer focus attitude
- Based or willing to relocate to Lugoj
-Skill and experience in analyzing and improving a supply chain
- Understanding of and previous experience in using MRP and bill of material
- Highly numerate with an eye for detail, and logical problem solving
- Team player who can work and contribute to the value of a team
- Other European cultural awareness is a plus
