- Engineering technical focal for company's business dealings with Airbus.
- Representing technical interests in meetings with customers, performing design engineering, gathering specific technical information onsite at customer
- inspection and minor repair of hardware
- supervising contract employees as necessary
- at least 5 years engineering experience in aerospace sheet metal structure design including: material selection, forming, joining, tooling, design, Finite Element Analysis and part qualification
- experience in design of Aircraft ducting systems including specification review, commercial aircraft airworthiness requirements and Design for Manufacturing principles.
- Capable of directly managing teams of engineering personnel
- Basic proficiency with CATIA VPM( Airbus standard)
- Native level ability in English in speaking and writing
- 4 years engineering degree from accredited college or university
- must be able to travel to the Us at least quarterly for one to two weeks at a time
