To promote our range of Polyurethane Additives products in the region South East Europe incl. Romania, Hungary, Balkan States and neighboring countries Evonik’s Business Line Polyurethane Additives - one of the leading supplier for the PU foam industry - is looking for a highly motivated, well organized Sales Manager Polyurethane Additives South Eastern Europe (m/f).
Sales responsibility for all polyurethane additives within the defined region
Achieve sales targets by implementing strategies by direct account management
Gathering and reporting of market information
Development and implementation of national sales plan
Develop and maintain a mutually beneficial working business relationship with customers
Coordinate with Key Account and Industry Team Leaders to establish and implement global market segment and key account strategies
Gathering and reporting of market information
Coordinate technical support initiatives for the defined region
The position is home office based (ideally in Romania or Hungary) and involves frequent travel and customer visits.
A minimum of 3 years sales experience within the specialty chemical industry, ideally within the Polyurethane industry
Technical understanding is essential, ideally technical background e.g. Bachelor in chemistry or chemical engineering
Strong interpersonal skills
Customer and team oriented
Self directed and results oriented
Good computer skills
English, Romanian and/or Hungarian required, possibly South Slavic
Adequate compensation package incl. base salary, performance related bonus, company car and home allowance
