Reports to corporate research manager and administratively to the local General Manager
Responsibilities:
1. To develop new products under corporate directive
2. To help improving the process/quality of existing products reverse engineering and cost reduction of existing products
3. Supports the production activity, works on small pilot plants for testing and improving the products
4. To make samples for customers when necessary.
5. Coordinates and supervises the activity of the scientists in the R&D department
6. Set raw material specifications and qualify them
7. Prepares annual budget for the department
1. Graduate, preferably a post graduate in chemistry with about 5 years experience in a managerial position in a research environment, in industry or research institute.
2. preference will be given to someone with experience in the field of organic chemistry, syntesis
3. Working knowledge of English is essential
