Job Description Scope and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning, implementation and monitoring of products inspection and tests so that fabrication is in accordance with established quality assurance requirements.
- Identify and report quality problems where applicable, monitor the NCR and CAR.
- Issues reports.
- Responsible for the safety and productivity of Construction Building employees and conducts regular crew safety meetings.
- Responsible for conducting performance appraisals in a timely consistent manner.
- Ensures departmental objectives and schedules are met in a safe, productive and cost effective manner.
- Apply and observe all safety regulations and requirements.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- University Technologist/ Engineer with diploma in mechanical or metallurgy Engineering Technology with a minimum of ten (10) years in monitoring production and tests, a PCCP Plant work experience is required.
- Experience working oversea is preferred.
Communication Skills:
- Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of office software such as MS Office is required.
- Fully competent in QA/QC of fabrication work and in implementation of Quality Assurance procedures according ISO 9001-2000.
