Description of Unit
Business Unit Global Services has a number of Global Services Delivery Centers around the world which complements the Market Units in delivering delivery services to Ericsson's customers.

Job Description

To ensure sufficient cover of the customer provisioning systems. Enabling new customers to be provisioned and activated on to the network as well as supporting the CC, service requests and their systems.
Take responsibility to ensure the smooth running and support of business critical Provisioning systems
Manage PR's through to resolution of PR's raised by the business.
Look at ways to improve the way Provisioning Back Office operates and maintain the high level of productivity within the team.

Responsibilities

Responsible for monitoring end to end customer provisioning requests, including, activate/deactivate of handset or customer services, failed Ports, handset routing, mobile internet, etc. Dealing with Activation errors as they arise.
Service Orders including ROI MNP, Port Ins/Outs, MSISDN/IMSI swaps, and retires.
Maintain stability of applications through regular housekeeping and maintenance activities.
Provide resolution to service requests and faults identified by other areas and raised via a corporate system that relate to Provisioning systems. Manage escalations and co-ordinate implementation of root cause fixes with SI teams and IT Development.
Service Assurance Tests, Work Order Approvals, Daily Provisioning report and production of reports and documentation when required.
Pre-provisioning - AUC Only, SMPPROV, SMPPAY.
Data Integrity tickets - Which may vary from Xenicom/Peoplesoft Updates and Un-billable ADC/Billing updates.
UM rebuilds, (scenarios include failed Port IN's and failed MSISDN / IMSI swaps).
Assist the Provisioning Team Leader in verifying and optimising process and procedure flows.


CERINTE

Technical expertise:

In depth knowledge of customer provisioning systems in a telecom environment. (ideally with Provident experience)
Evidence of previous experience preferably within an Operations or Support environment
3 years experience in ORACLE-SQL and UNIX shell scripting
Strong platform experience (UNIX, NT, Oracle )


Soft skills:

Team player, logical thinker with problem solving abilities, flexible, motivated with strong customer service orientation


Academic background:

Technical qualification in IT/Telecoms
A minimum of 3 years in the Customer Provisioning IT Telecom Sector
