Our client is a world leading rubber parts manufacturer for the automotive industry. Together we are looking for a Production Manager based in Brasov Plant.
Responsibilities:
-Analyzing, planning, directing and coordinating the production activities within the allocated business unit;
- Planning the plant’s resources to meet the production goals;
- Managing overtime or extra shifts if necessary;
- Overseeing the production process, reducing costs wherever possible and making sure products are produced on time and are of good quality;
- Making sure that the production proceeds smoothly and stays within budget;
- Assuring technical transfer of the production projects;
- Monitoring product standards and implementing quality control programs;
- Implementing training programs;
- Working closely with the other managers (financial, sales, procurement, logistics) in order to implement the company’s policies and goals;
- Working closely with the continuous improvement department to implement the production improvement system.
- University degree in industrial engineering;
- Previous relevant experience as a production coordinator within the automotive or other related industries;
- French compulsory (at least medium level), English is a plus but not compulsory;
- PC skills: MS Office, Production Management Software, E-mail;
- Good knowledge of quality and management systems;
- Responsible and flexible person, with excellent communication skills;
- Proactive and results oriented person.
