Your ResponsibilitiesDuring construction the Process / Commissioning Engineer shall supervise the installation of the Process Units based on specifications, requirements set out in the P&ID’s, Process Description, General Layouts and Equipment General Arrangement & Detail Drawings provided by the relevant Unit Supplier.
Any deviation or non-conformity shall be noted and discussed with Supplier’s representative before issuing a recommendation to Project Manager about acceptance or rectification of the deviation.
Especially type and location of field instrumentation and valves as well as� interconnecting piping layout shall be checked against the approved design documentation.
For mechanical completion of Process Units Process / Commissioning Engineer shall verify the completeness of all equipment including their internals, and piping & instrumentation� required as per P&ID.
Red-marks shall be provided to Project Engineering Manager for preparation of As-Built documentation by the relevant Supplier or Engineering Contractor.
During commissioning Process / Commissioning Engineer shall coordinate the activities of Supplier’s representatives with the commissioning team for pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up period and shall check their compliance with the approved commissioning procedures and manuals. Furthermore Process / Commissioning Engineer shall verify the setup and configuration of the Process Units, as well as the Balance of Plant, and Utilities for the Site Acceptance Test.
Additionally� he shall check the parameters and evaluate the results of the process performance tests as precondition for the issuance of Provisional Acceptance Certificates for the Process Units.
Check of As-Built Process Documentation from Process Unit Suppliers and Engineering Contractor against the red-marks made during installation and pre-commissioning.
Your ProfileEducated to first degree level in a relevant discipline
Experience with downstream facilities (Gas treatment Plants, Refineries etc.)
Technical English language fluent
Technical Russian language beneficial
Working in rotation with camp accommodation
Should be fully knowledgeable about commissioning procedures and techniques to be employed, materials used and testing procedures to be applied for installations
Working permit holders for Kazakhstan (Russian or Kazakh citizens) is a valuable asset.
