SCOPE OF POSITION
Development of S7 PLC-programs for the Baggage-Handling-System (BHS) at Dubai International Airport.
QUALIFICATIONS
The jobholder should have qualifications below:
Good store of experience in object-orientated-programming and commissioning with SIEMENS S7
(preferred in baggage-handling-systems).
Program languages : AWL, KOP, SCL, CFC
High intellectual grasp to learn the application of the SD AL software within 3 weeks
Good store of experience in application of H-(high-redundancy) and F-(failsafe) Systems.
Well-versed in analysis of complex material flow processes and developing of individual strategies regard to system topology.
Well-versed in programming of Ethernet communication (ISO and TCP/IP)
Good store of experience in application of PROFIBUS
Basic knowledge in ACAD and E-PLAN
Well-versed in programming of serial communication (RK512, 3964, etc?)
Well-versed in the use of WINDOWS XP, EXCEL, WORD and VISIO
Good spoken and written knowledge in English
MAIN TASKS
The jobholder is responsible for (the following tasks:)
*Examination of the mechanical layout regarding functionality,
*Generation of Object Type Tables (OTT) and Object Index Tables (OIT)
*Definition and clarification of interfaces with the customer and sub-contractors
*Definition of standard specifications
*Coordination of ACAD activities
*Development of new PLC-Segments for mechanical prototypes
*Definition of feed-in, PLC (Programmable Logic Control), PDP (Power Distribution Panel) and emergency-areas
*Generation of basic PLC program-codes and input/output-lists with PDL-Tools (SD engineering tools)
>>Familiarize programmers with the belt-system, who will be able to program and commission:
* loading-stations and belts with data tracking,
* belt-lifter,
* vertical-sorter,
* turn-tables,
* etc?.
>>Familiarize programmers with the tray-system, who will be able to program and commission:
* dynamic and static tilters,
* lifter,
* merge- and divert stations,
* etc?
>>Familiarize programmers, who will be able to program and commission:
* Ethernet communication to a superior calculator (TCP/IP),
* Ethernet communication to other PLC?s (ISO),
* Mobil touch-panel in WIN CE (MOBIC),
* Tray-Identsystem.
*Complete commissioning of an BHS up to the customer acceptance
*Organization and leading of commissioning in sub-systems,
*Generation of system documentations
*Training of customers? employees
*Organization of the different tasks respecting the time schedule,
*Undertakes tasks as may be delegated from time to time by the superior.
