Your ResponsibilitiesResponsible for a package Unit: Checking engineering documents against design specifications (discipline specific and inter-disciplinary)
Drawing up specialist engineering documents
Supporting procurement as checking and tracking of supplier documents against stipulations (specification, dates, production status)
On site- Mechanical Supervisor: monitoring the specialist works at site within his/her specialist area during erection and commissioning phase
If necessary deviation requests to relevant standards shall be managed.
Review design deliverables
Participate in safety activities
Participate in Peer Assists, Peer Reviews, HSSE reviews and Value Improving Workshops
Liaise with Operations to ensure that maintainability issues are addressed in the design process
Work with design Engineers to ensure that interfaces are well controlled
Recognize where the application of technology is new or where key parameters such as equipment size or duty exceed known references
Actively engage in the Project Risk Management process to identify and manage risks; take ownership of, and close-out assigned risks
Ensure that project lessons learned are effectively documented and disseminated for future projects

Your ProfileEducated to first degree level in a relevant discipline
EPC or PMC in oil & gas plants
Gas plant experience is an advantage
English skills MANDATORY, Russian advantage
Implementation of international mechanical engineering standards
Knowledge of breadth and depth of mechanical engineering needed to manage the quality control of contractor technical work; ensuring appropriate techniques and standards are adopted
Ability to find and communicate to contractors, in a proactive way, solutions that meet project requirements
Commenting on documents and drawings in a constructive manner that identifies non compliances and errors
Good understanding of interfacing disciplines
Very good organisation and communication skills
Working permit holders for Kazakhstan (Russian or Kazakh citizens) is a valuable asset
