Our client is a company that activates in home appliances production.
• Leads the production unit, related processes and staff in the development and execution of world class operational performance.
• Prepares manufacturing operation and investment plans.
• Develops programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the manufacturing organization to the highest level of operational performance against lowest costs.
• Delivers products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates.
• Maintain commitment to environmental and quality regulations.
• Supervises, selects, develops, coaches and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient manufacturing. Contributes to linkage of product creation processes. Is involved in make-or-buy decisions.
• Is involved in deciding on outsourcing of production activities. Manages pilot production and production preparation activities. Helps to formulate purchasing policy for components and semi-finished products.
• Contributes to optimization of production process in relation to other disciplines.
• Ensures appropriate personnel management as regards recruitment, changes, remuneration, employability, flexibility, training and conditions of employment.
• Contacts with adjacent disciplines such as logistics, purchasing, sales and product development.
• Minimum 5 years experience in production management
• Specialised knowledge of production methods
• Management and coaching of Unit Leaders and Coordinators
• Advanced English knowledge, Italian would be considered an advantage
