Microsoft Office (Ireland) has 2 openings for program managers who have great technical and project management aptitude, great communication and cross-group skills, a can-do attitude and the ability to jump in and get the job done in a fast-paced and stimulating environment.
Responsibilities :
• Provide technical and project management leadership for the organization in relation to Microsoft Office technologies
• Lead the delivery of international versions of Office System components within agreed timeframe, budget and quality standards
• Participate in corporate planning processes, assessing requirements with core teams and subsidiaries to drive recommendations on market suitability
• Identify opportunities and lead virtual teams to deliver product and process improvements
• Identify and manage major program risks
• Develop close relationships with worldwide subsidiaries, providing proactive feedback to core teams to assist in driving Office System adoption in target markets
• Provide international sufficiency, globalisation and localizability support to internal and 3rd party development teams
• Influence key decision makers to support innovative improvements and solutions.
• 3+ years of project management & technical experience in international software development, information technology or related industry
• Degree in Computer Science or a related faculty
• Strong passion for technology and customers
• Strong interpersonal ability and organizational agility; highly effective in building mutually beneficial partnerships and networks with parties/organizations internal and external to the company
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a complex and ever-changing international environment
• Proven record of shipping high quality complex software projects on time
• Demonstrated understanding of the current industry and business environment internationally
• Excellent English communication skills

• Good understanding of the localization business, challenges and technical opportunities for innovation
• Good technical understanding of the Microsoft Office system
