Tasks:
- Instrument index
- Loop diagrams
- Logic diagrams (FUP), Function block diagrams (FBD)
- Input / output assignment, configuration lists
- Package Unit coordination
- Specification, calculation and PO process control equipment (DCS, SIS,
Machine Monitoring)
- Specification and PO of pressure, diff.-pressure and temperature devices
- Specification and PO of analyzer equipment
- Specification, calculation and PO of control valves
- Specification of instrument cables and other bulk material
- Specification and PO for construction & test of instrumentation
- Erection engineering like hook ups, cabinet documentation, plot plans, cable tray routing
- Electrical or mechanical engineer, with main focus on instrumentation or automation of process plants (not production automation)
- 5 years experience in Design, Equipment Selection, Installation and Commissioning of process plants
- Basic knowledge in material selection and thermodynamics
- Team leadership and project management capability
- Experience of negotiating third party contracts
- Knowledge of design codes and practice
- Optional: experience in ASU, gas or olefin plants
- Experience with tools like: MS ¿ Office, ACAD; database oriented engineering tools such as Prodoc, Intools or Sigraph; and also: Conval and Logidoc
