POSITION: Electrical Site Supervisor
MISSION
? To supervise the subcontractors on site for the electrical installation of conveyors including all related items for the baggage handling system upto and including pre-commissioning.
JOB DESCRIPTION
? Work with design department and Electrical Site Engineer to ensure that the design is fully understood by Installation Contractors.
? Check and prepare PLC area in advance for the subcontractor, including mechanical installation, wiring diagrams and availability of material.
? Solve any problems within his range of responsibilities.
? Ensure all Health, Safety and Environment codes are practiced.
? Ensure that all installation works match the requirements of the company regarding method statements, installation guides etc.
? Responsible for the day to day installation progress against the program.
? Ensure that variations are kept to the minimum
? Manage the As-Built drawing process
? Regular reporting of the progress, safety and quality to the Site Engineer
? Ensure continuous and correct flow of materials to Installation Contractor
? Directly involved with inspection, testing and commissioning of systems.
QUALIFICATIONS
? Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
? Knowledge of Simatic S-7 PROFIBUS, & S7-300 & above)
? Knowledge of MS Office
? Knowledge of electrical norm i.e. (EC, EN, BS, DEWA)
? Good communication (both spoken and written) skills
? Initiative and creativity
? Good decision making skills, team skills and ability to analyze
EXPERIENCE
? Minimum 5 to 7 years experience in similar position at site.
? Must have experience with process automation systems.
