In the name of our client, International general contracting company internationally recognized, involved in three major sectors: public works, construction and industrial projects in the Middle East, mainly on turn key basis, we are searching for ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER to work in QATAR.

Executed projects are not limited only to office buildings, roads and bridges, hospitals, schools, factories, sport facilities, electromechanical and irrigation projects, water treatment plants, power plants, etc.
Most of these projects required a high level of complexity and extensive technical details.
The business is mainly located in the near and Middle East, namely in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, reaching now other Arab countries like Algeria and has development plans in Sudan and Muscat.
Responsibilities:
- Working on various projects i.e conceptual design and study, FEED and basic engineering and detailed design.
- Ability to work within a team environment with a minimum of supervision and to both Company and Industry standards
- Proven ability to oversee the preparation of design and detail drawings from sketches, plans or other design data
- Ability to take on responsibility for the design and drafting of HV and LV electrical installation
- Be able to demonstrate a proven track record of completing a given work scope within time and budget constraints
- Responsible for the coordination of all electrical drawings
- Quality Assurance – responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system
- Safety – responsible for personal safety safe working practices. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
A Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Design / Drafting, with a preference for an Electrical Engineering Degree
Minimum 3 years experience in the design and drafting of industrial facilities and associated sub-structures
Experience with AutoCAD design software packages
Experience with the DAD system would be an advantage but not essential
Specialization in the following: detailed drawings for lighting; small power and earthing systems; HV/LV single line diagrams; wiring and control schematic diagram; AC/DC distribution panels
Water treatment facilities experience would be a plus
