Description of Unit

Business Unit Global Services has a number of Global Services Delivery Centers around the world which complements the Market Units in delivering delivery services to Ericsson's customers.

Job Description

Maintain and support the EAI middleware platforms to support customer's mobile network services.
Ensure we meet 99.999% availability targets across the middleware platforms and associated mobile services.

Responsibilities

Maintain high levels of service continuity on EAI Middleware platform for both internal and external customers.
Take the lead and responsibility for the technical direction / decisions within the team with an aim to provide an EAI platform that is 99.999% available.
To troubleshoot logged faults in order to accurately isolate the cause and provide working solutions, to liaise with vendors where necessary in order to resolve vendor related issues and monitor progress against customer SLAs.
To provide 2nd level technical support for the Tibco integrated solution on an daily and on-call basis within a team.


CERINTE

Technical expertise:

3 years solid hands on Unix (Solaris/HPUX) user experience.
2 years Shell (sh) scripting experience.
Knowledge of IP networking from a protocol level (specifically to have understanding of TCP/UDP/ICMP/broadcast/multicast etc.)
3 years Operational experience of running distributed Unix applications.
At least 12 months Operational experience of running Java applications.
2 years Unix system administration experience.
Basic PERL, SQL and JAVA Programming experience
Knowledge of distibuted middleware applications for messaging and job queuing.
TIBCO Rendezvous administration, TIBCO Rendezvous API programming.
Knowledge of TIBCO Applications and Platforms :-

Integration Manager.

InConcert.
AE SDK Adapters.
Basic knowledge of Oracle DB applications, WebLogic Server or other J2EE platforms.
Experience in any Enterprise CRM, Accential DataStage for ETL or real time Billing systems systems.
Basic knowledge of telecoms systems and service provisioning


Soft skills:

Team player, logical thinker with problem solving abilities, flexible, motivated with strong customer service orientation,


Academic background:

Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Computing discipline.
Formal training in the use/administration of Sun Solaris or HPUX OS
