Description of Unit

Business Unit Global Services has a number of Global Services Delivery Centers around the world which complements the Market Units in delivering delivery services to Ericsson's customers.

Job Description

To maintain all CRM systems with optimum performance , reliability and availability.
To transfer new CRM systems and upgrades into the production environment with the minimum of downtime and issues.
To provide out of hours on call support and work for priority system problems and planned maintenance.
To innovate system and service improvements on behalf of all ESL customers for all CRM systems.
Responsibilities

The CRM Service Delivery Engineer works within a team of highly motivated individuals to ensure the smooth transition of CRM apps. into the Operational environment.
Provide 3rd line support for the suite of mission critical CRM Applications.

Supply input to 4th line development teams to ensure readiness for Service Delivery.

Manage the transition of Application changes and capacity upgrades.

Manage the transition of Applications to CRM IT Operations 2nd line teams.

Track tickets, Work Orders and escalations via an industry standard call-tracking system.

Be aware of forthcoming platform and software enhancements and plan for their impact to the Operations team.

Be available for on-call support.

Assist with the mentoring of new people into the team.

Install and manage Service Delivery testing environments.

Liaise with testing teams in preparation for operational readiness.


CERINTE

Technical expertise:

Strong platform experience (UNIX, NT)
3 years relevant industry experience
Knowledge of CRM applications, ideally Peoplesoft or similar
Experience of supporting Weblogic and or Resin
Oracle Database skills and knowledge (SQL, PL/SQL, Schema)


Behavioral competences:

Ability to work and communicate effectively at management and technical levels.
Must be analytical, methodical, flexible, professional and have an organised approach to work.
A team player who thrives in a pressurised environment with a can-do attitude, willing to transfer and share knowledge.
Continual demonstration of personal skills relating to good time management and organisation ability coupled with an outgoing and sociable personality.
Desire to investigate solutions to problems and follow through to satisfactory conclusion



Academic background:

IT qualification or suitable experience with toolset
