POSITION Contract Manager
MISSION
? Implementation of contractual obligations of the contract parties, avoidance of contractual risks, ensuring the fulfillment of project aims under contract requirements
JOB DESCRIPTION
? Bid phase ? Reporting of Bid / No Bid procedure; Implementation of procedure to release Offers; Final release of Offer by Review Board.
? Contracting ? Contract analysis; Review of contracts for supplies and services; Support of contract negotiations.
? Project Startup ? Risk management focusing to terms and condition; Defining the claims procedure.
? Realization Phase ? Contractual correspondence; Verification of contractual scope of supply; contract controlling of subcontracts; Controlling time schedules regarding potential claims; Development of claim documentation.
? Claims ? Responsible for all claims made upto the stage of final account and final settlement; Responsible for all claims made by subcontractor, and counter claims; Responsible for all insurance claims
QUALIFICATIONS
? Degree or Diploma in Engineering or its equivalent. Additional qualification of Quantity Surveying preferred.
? Thorough knowledge of MS Office and working knowledge of MS Visio and Adobe Acrobat Standard.
? Good communication (both spoken and written) skills
? Results-oriented, Change oriented, Creative
? Ability to analyze, Situational sensitivity
EXPERIENCE
? Minimum of 5 years work experience in Contract Management. Working knowledge of Project Management preferably in turnkey construction projects in the Gulf
