Business Unit Global Services has a number of Global Services Delivery Centers around the world which complements the Market Units in delivering delivery services to Ericsson’s customers.
Job Description
The primary role of the Billing & Mediation team is the 2nd level support of Billing & Mediation applications within the Back Office.
Working core business hours Monday to Friday
Fault and performance management
Service level protection
Activation / deactivation of standard functions and features
Preventative routine maintenance
Technical expertise:
Exposure to an IT/Network service orientated Operational environment
Operational support experience in a critical, real time Production environment
At least three year’s hands-on experience in a Telecoms BSS environment with a technical understanding of Billing and Mediation systems and how they support business processes.
At least three year’s hands-on experience in Oracle 9i SQL and PL/SQL scripting, UNIX shell scripting and Perl scripting.
At least three year’s hands-on operator experience in UNIX, NT, Oracle, BEA Tuxedo and BEA WebLogic Server.
Basic understanding of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) process design and implementation and SFTP/FTP protocols.
Soft skills:
Team player, logical thinker with problem solving abilities, flexible, motivated with strong customer service orientation
Academic background:
Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Computing discipline.
