Job description
Prepare all the necessary shop- and detailed drawings, pipe drawings and schemes
Make classification drawings for the machine- and pump rooms
Make arrangement drawings for the motors, generators, pumps and modules
Carry out weight and structure calculations
Responsible for preparing the bill of materials
Our client is part of the biggest shipbuilding company in the Netherlands, specialized in designing and building of ships and other complex water equipments for clients all over the world.
For their modern engineering department in the Netherlands, we are currently looking for a
3D PIPING ENGINEER
Job requirements
College / university degree in the mechanical or shipbuilding field
Min. 3 years of experience in designing, calculating and drawing the mechanical parts of a ship
3D AutoCAD knowledge
Experience with Cadmatic plant modeller preferred
Excellent command of English
Competencies
Good communicational and problem solving skills
Po-active and motivated, both independently as in project team
Well organised with a systematic work approach
Committed to work in the Netherlands for min. 6 months period
