As a result of growth and expansion of their organisation in Romania, they are offering now the opportunity to enjoy in their team as an ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION COORDINATOR.
Environment Protection Coordinator will be responsible for the entire environment protections activity, in order to prevent and combat the accidental pollution and observe and ensure the laws in force. He/She will coordinate the entire ecological comply viewers team and will represent the company in the relations with the local and national legal authorities.
Responsibilities:
¿ Coordinating all activities regarding the environment protection;
¿ Coordinating and supervising the ecological comply viewer team;
¿ Esthablishing clear and realistic performance purposes. Periodical assessment for achieving the performance purposes;
¿ Checking the application of the internal rules of the companies by the subordinated employees;
¿ Colaborating for the development of the environment company¿s policy;
¿ Coordinating the implementation of environment management system (ISO 14001).
¿ Managing the accidental polution¿s cases and issuing the emergency plans required to solve the situation;
¿ Participating at controls and visits af legal authorities;
¿ Preparing reports about Environment Protection Department activity;
¿ Managing the department¿s buget and costs, regarding increasing productivity and profit.
¿ Responsible for keeping norms of Labor protection, fire safety norms, environment protection inside the plant;
¿ Responsible for respecting and applying rules of Quality Management System.
¿ University degree in Chemistry and Environment Engineering;
¿ At least 5 years in a similar position (preferably in manufacturing industry);
¿ Good command of environment protection laws;
¿ Technical abilities, instinct about connotations of certain operations on environment;
¿ Communication skills, persuasive, initiative;
¿ Analytical thinking, details oriented, taking decisions capability;
¿ Availability to work overtime;
¿ Ability to work under pressure;
¿ Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook Express);
¿ Fluency in English.
