Waste Management Coordinator

Qualifications:
- Degree qualified or similar experience,
- Strong knowledge of the best techniques of waste management, monitoring and verification. - Auditing experience. ISO certified.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Training experience.
- Preparation and management of submittal logs.
- Knowledge of waste recycling.
- Must be proficient using Microsoft word and Excel.
- Fully conversant in the English language.
- Ability to write comprehensive reports.
- Operational experience with a variety of waste management techniques including monitoring programs.
- Experienced with handling hazardous materials. 40 hours HAZWOPER training or equal.
- In possession of, or capable of, obtaining a Qatari drivers license.

Experience:
- Will be responsible for monitoring / auditing the activities of the waste management contractor, project contractors and subcontractors.
- Will require the ability to quickly develop a thorough understanding of Qatari laws, local regulations and Client waste management procedures.
- Requires good computer skills, good communication skills and the ability to direct corrective action when the need arises.
- Position will be in the field auditing waste collection and management practices.
- May provide leadership and technical direction to other less experienced personnel.
- May interface at various organizational levels and with clients and regulatory agencies.
- Participation on focused teams likely.
- Assignments may or may not be well defined and will require some initiative to determine best approach to problem solving.
- Good computer, research, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills required.
