Cost control of projects.
Identify and preparing variations and mo valuations for the projects.
Verify sub-contract variation and payme certificates.
Attending site visits and assessing site conditions for tenders.
University Degree in Civil Engineering with 5 years experience in quantity surveying, out of which minimum 3 years Middle East experience / Diploma in Civil Engineering with 10 years experience in quantity surveying, out of which 5 years Middle East experience.
Knowledge of GCC Suppliers and Subcontractors, material and labour, markets.
Required excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Required sound judgement and ability to organise and dealing with Department staff.
Must be well organized and flexibleable
deal with a variety of issues at the same time above to set priorities and work to deadlines.
Must have good knowledge of common computer applications including Word, Excel, E-mail and internet.
Knowledge of Qatar Construction Specification.
