GSS Ltd. has been requested by a major international EPC contractor to provide an experienced Site Scheduling Manager to be based in Qatar for up to 3 years on a 8 / 2 rotation.
- Provide HSE leadership and lead weekly team toolbox discussions Set department priorities & distribute workload to align with team strengths. Review & validate all documentation.
- Facilitate weekly site management schedule reviews, meetings processes, procedures, systems and priorities.
- Maintain a strong site team awareness of system turnover sequence.
- Audit department, Critical Path Analysis. Identify employee strengths & weaknesses, risk analysis & mitigation.
- Progress analysis & reporting.
- Ensure that a professional & productive work environment is maintained and that construction & commissioning plan & schedule work as one integrated team.
- Integrate site scheduling activities with the overall project scheduling program.
Qualifications: Ideal candidate will be well educated and have a degree / equivalent qualifications and experience.
An ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and strong communication and presentation skills, including fluent written and spoken English.
Should have the relevant computer skills.
Experience:
- Ideal candidate will be a Planning / Scheduling Manager with a strong background in planning and specific experience in construction and commissioning.
Negotiable salary, pension, life assurance, health assurance and normal major company benefits. Must be willing to relocate. This is a single status assignment. There is no local income tax in Qatar.
