1. Review the original and revised bill of quantities and unit rates
2. Establish the ¿for construction¿ (FC) and final as built quantities and estimates.
3. Analyze drawing register and ensure all revisions are included and copies of drawings are available
4. Ensure drawing revisions are constantly reviewed for charges.
5. Agree weightings and progress claim formats with the contractors representative
6. Material take-off labour and equipment costing, and determine unit rates for changes in the works.
7. Determine the scope of work and specifications, etc
The candidate should be B.E Mechanical (site experience of Quantity Surveying for Mechanical work). exposure to current trends in Mechanical / Oil & Gas projects is a must.
Able to understand conceptual layouts to prepare budgetory estimates.
Preparation of BOQ with Architect's details as per rate analysis.
Participation in Value Engineering of the Project & monitoring the project expenditure in terms of proposed budget.
Bill Checking & certfication.
Should be able to work independently. Familiar with Site Activities and Tender Contracts.
