Follow-up with Planning Personnel on their weekly & monthly reports.
Follow-up schedule updates on all projects.
Prepare overall schedules during the tender stage.
Visit regularly the sites to review planning activity with Site Planning Engineers.
Keep an overview of the Planning Engineers.
Look after the interests of Planning Personnel.
Offer assistance and advice to planners.
Develop Planning Procedures in order to become more technically efficient.
Consider Department training requirement and put forward recommendations.
Engineering Degree supplemented with specific training in project scheduling and related software such as Primavera, MS Project, D-Base or equivalent with 10 to 15 years experience of construction & project planning experience, ideally on large scale commercial, residential and industrial projects.
A portfolio of skills in areas such as:
* Cost Control and scheduling.
* Project Management Information System.
* Project Scheduling & Tracking Software.
* Project Documentation Processes.
Capable of providing technical leadership in an multi-disciplinary construction environment.
Excellent communication skills (written reports).
Ability to work with a diverse, multi-cultural workforce.
