Monitor all maintenance schedule data of equipments, plant & machinery, establishes priorities & direct activities according to maintenance plans. Participates and assists in the upgrading of maintenance procedures to ensure overall co-ordination of startups & shutdowns, pre-commissioning & commissioning of new/overhauled equipment. Maintain full equipment history record and ensure correct management of work/material orders. To direct a team of foremen, mechanics, electricians and provide daily technical support on heavy equipments & machinery. Must be able to train sub-ordinates on proper procedures of maintenance. Ensure the company¿s environmental health and safety procedures are adhered to in the area of maintenance work.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with and supervise a team. Good adaptability to multinational environment with wide exposures to various customs & cultures.
Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from an accredited University with a minimum 10 yrs experience in the maintenance of heavy machinery and plants. Extensive knowledge of mechanical / electrical equipment & maintenance procedures associated with heavy machinery and all types of rotating equipments.
