¿ To manage and organize the QA/QC Department and staff.
¿ To implement the requirement of the Project Quality Plan and to contribute towards its continuous improvement.
¿ To liaise with and advise all management, supervisory personnel and subcontractors in the implementation of good quality practice on the project.
¿ To ensure that the construction is carried out in accordance with the Contract Drawings, Specifications, Inspection & Test Plans and Method Statements.
¿ To inspect and check work prior to covering up and ¿sign off¿ inspection reports.
¿ To ensure that the appropriate verification records and registers are maintained.
¿ To ensure the materials are in compliance and that incoming material checks are conducted and recorded.
¿ To ensure that subcontractors comply with their Quality Plan¿
¿ To conduct QC audits or part audits.
¿ To identify nonconforming product or activity and to initiate Nonconformance Reports and Corrective/Preventive Action Reports.
¿ To organize and conduct a program of QA/QC training for all personnel levels in the project.
¿ To visit subcontractor/suppliers premises to carry out assessments/audits/monitoring quality standards.
¿ Material testing, documentation, preparation of method statements, inspection of works for client¿s approval, organizing independent laboratory tests.
¿ Preparation of Project Quality Plan and all related documentation for Quality Management Systems.
¿ To conduct QC audits or part audits.
¿ To identify nonconforming product or activity and to initiate Nonconformance Reports and
Corrective/Preventive Action Reports.
A bachelor¿s degree in engineering discipline. 7 to 10 year s experience in Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industry;Excellent Knowledge of Inspection tech in Oil & Gas Industrial Sector Knowledge in material standards and welding codes (AWS,ASM API)
¿ Complete familiarity in international codes & standards for construction industry.
¿ Complete familiarity in Quality Management System.
¿ Wide experience in diverse types of projects in different countries.
¿ Can work as a team leader.
¿ Skills for technical reporting, correspondences.
