• To Plan public service bus routes to include the timing and stopping places on route and to prepare bus graphs, bus allocation plans, bus timetables and drivers schedules to ensure all resources are used to the optimum.
• Planning of bus routes.
• Identify on road Bus Stop locations.
• Time routes.
• Prepare Bus graphs.
• Prepare Duty Graphs.
• Prepare Drivers Schedules.
• Prepare Duty Boards
• Prepare Rota’s
• Prepare timetables to Printing draft quality.
• To assist in the preparation of the budget and to assist in meeting the targets set.
• To complete any other reasonable duty or task required by the company.
• 2 years Route Planning Experience Essential
• Working knowledge of computerised scheduling systems. Desirable.
• 2 years scheduling experience Essential
• 2 years supervisory or management experience. Desirable.
• MCILT or MCIT qualification Desirable
• Excel and Word Skills Essential
